Turn any MIDI file into a Sky sheet
Drop a MIDI, let the site find the key and the instruments, fit every note onto the 15 keys of Sky: Children of the Light, listen to the result and download a file ready for your favourite player.
Access is limited to a few testers for now: the door opens with a melody.
How it works
Drop a .mid file: we spot the key and the instruments (melody, accompaniment, bass, drums).
Sky only plays the notes of C major over two octaves, so the song is fitted to those keys. You listen to the result and tweak what you want.
You get a .txt file ready to drop into your Sky player.
What it does for you
The song is shifted into the scale of Sky, and key changes along the way are followed section by section.
Melody, accompaniment, bass and drums are recognised, duplicates spotted, each instrument becomes a layer.
An audio preview with a piano roll shows exactly what the sheet will sound like before you download.
Every import stays in your profile with its settings, private or shared with the other players.
